Here was my recent holiday schedule:
Monday, Dec 23: work. Evening: drive 175 miles to Mom and Dad's
Tuesday, Dec 24: vacation
Wednesday, Dec 25: vacation. Evening: drive 175 miles back home
Thursday, Dec 26: work. Evening: frantically unpack and repack
Friday, Dec 27: work. Evening: drive 175 miles to Mom and Dad's
Saturday, Dec 28: weekend
Sunday, Dec 29: weekend. Evening: drive 175 miles back home
Monday, Dec 30: work. Evening: frantically unpack and repack
Tuesday, Dec 31: work. Evening: drive 175 miles to Mom and Dad's
Wednesday, Jan 1: vacation. Evening: drive 175 miles back home
Thursday, Jan 2: work
Notice any patterns? I'm not one of those strange people that has vacation time to burn by the end of the year... unfortunately. Worth every mile though :) Pics to follow.
I'm not one of those strange people either. In fact, this year I'm buying a week of vacation and probably still won't have any to "use up" at the end of the year.
